A GMTK Game Jam 2023 submission built on the theme 'Roles Reversed' — you play as the NPC of a massive online multiplayer game, choosing which quests to send adventurers on.
Made in a little under 24 hours during GMTK Game Jam 2023. Instead of playing the hero, you take on the role of the humble NPC in an MMO — help your city, keep the players questing, and take a small profit to set up more quests. We had a lot of fun coming up with player names and watching the random server updates roll in as quests got completed.
